THREE GENERATIONS OF HISTORY.
The beginning of this adventure is based on my roots. I grew up in a country on the Mediterranean coast and spent my whole life here, and I saw how a diet based on locally produced products can contribute so much to someone's life and that olive oil is a key component of this diet.

Designed for consumers who love better things in life and always try to consume the best.
We take great care in selecting the sources of the olives, and pay close attention to each sensitive processing stage. This effort allows us to create unique certified olive oils such as those with a protected designation of origin, or the organically farmed olive oils.
In many ancient covenants, the Olive Tree is a symbol of prosperity and welfare. The region where this abundance is most noticeable is the Aegean region, while the Aegean region is the most common in the Edremiti-Ayvalık area. THE ASSOS GURME FACTORY.
If Ayvalık were a continent, you could see the whole world from here. When you work on this land, you are working with the oldest soils in the world.
And if you can produce quality oils here, you have reached the heart of that land. The heart of the world.
The Assos Gurme factory covers of over 15,000 square metres close area.It is equipped with latest technology and divided into four operating units: the experimental mill, the storage area with a capacity of about 15,000 liters of olive oil, packaging lines and depots for the finished products and packages.
THE EXPERIMENTAL MILL.
In our state-of-the-art facility, our olives are first separated from materials such as leaves and stones and cleaned. The olives are crushed and got doughy. The oil is then separated from the dough with the help of water and phases.
All olive oils are obtained from the same olive orchards and collected by hand. Oils are produced in small batches by cold pressing (no heat treatment).
THE PACKAGING LINE.
In the field of bottling, the machine offers different options with its technology to fill glass, pet bottles and cans. It has the capacity to fill 10,000 bottles and 4,000 cans per hour.
Each bottle of olive oil we produce has full traceability to the place of production and processing date. All our processing and packaging processes are fully certificated by internationally accredited agencies, with our standards set well in excess of their minimum requirements
