THE RAYA MUÑOZ FAMILY LAUNCHES DOLORCITAS, A LIMITED PRODUCTION OF EVOO FROM THE TRADITIONAL OLIVE GROVE OF LUPIÓN
The Raya Muñoz family has launched its extra virgin olive oil on the market, which it markets under the Dolorcitas brand, a limited production of olive juice of the picual variety made from the best olive trees from its traditional olive grove grown in Lupión.
The brand is a tribute of gratitude and recognition to the legacy of the owner's grandmother and, in general, to all the grandmothers who have opted over the years for traditional agriculture, for the maintenance of tradition and the environment. , also combining a strong commitment to respect the environment and completely natural cultivation processes.
The promoters of this oil project consider that it is part of the search for its origins and what it entails on a human, family, process and customs level with respect to the way of doing things, "slowly, respecting our elderly, the way of living, without haste, in what today we would call a 'slow life' very much in the Spanish style, with that majestic tree that is the olive tree at the center of everything, both at a culinary level, and applied in other uses of home remedies and even medicinal ones, since it translated into our best tonic due to its unquestionable properties”.
And they add: “And all of this is what we want to remember today, with serenity, from an agriculture that returns to collect completely natural processes both at the level of control of the vegetal cover and of the auxiliary fauna as well as elaborating our own fertilizers without any product of synthesis and of course without the use of any chemical phytosanitary product, which has already resulted in obtaining an olive and an oil without any active material located in the multi-residue analyzes carried out on our harvest, giving us absolute peace of mind in the marketing of our oil , with some olive trees in the process of conversion to organic”.
“In short, in the face of the erroneous fixation of conventional agriculture to eliminate herbs and insects classified as harmful, we profess some processes to achieve the opposite, in a contribution to our lands of organic materials, minerals and living micro and macro-organisms to recreate the balance that throughout the history of our agriculture has prevailed in our fields in a totally natural way; that is, add life to the field”, they emphasize.
