Silver Award for the Quality of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil “SINGLE ESTATE”, which was distinguished among thousands of olive oil from around the world, in the London International Olive Oil Competition that were held in the United Kingdom.

FAMILY BUSSINESS

The company was founded in 1985 by Kostas and Christina Agathokleous in the village of Agglisides, Cyprus close to the mountain monastery Stavrovouni, where, by tradition people have been producing olives and olive oil for many years with the passion, knowledge and love for the cultivation.

This family oriented company began producing and trading olives with 10000 olive trees at the time. After years of production, trade and hard work the company grew in numbers and size. Today, the second generation is in management and is involved in all operations. Our olive groves in total have a size over 125000 olive trees, and our production line is equipped with the most advanced machinery technology has to offer

Usually described as “pure” or “100 percent pure,” Olive Oil is a blend of refined olive oil and extra virgin or virgin olive oil. Because the refined oil is neutral, it must be blended with extra virgin or virgin olive oil to enhance its flavor. Olive oil has an acidity level of less than 1,5 percent. It has good resistance to high temperatures and is better suited for heavy duty, high-heat cooking.

OLIVE OIL CATEGORIES

Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil

Made from the finest and most precious olives of organic farming, a cold pressed, it elevates quality to the highest level. When elsewhere the usual oil yield per tree is approximately ten liters, in Cyprus Groves our olive trees yield only three to five liters of olive oil. This gives a rich taste while our organic farming reflects our responsibility to the environment.

Extra Virgin Olive oil

Extra-virgin olive oil comes from virgin oil production only. Extra virgin olive oil is valued for its perfect balance in terms of flavor, aroma, color, and acidity level which does not exceed 0.8g per 100g.

Virgin Olive oil

Virgin olive oil has a free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, of not more than 2 grams per 100 grams and its other characteristics correspond to those fixed for this category in this standard.

Salad Dressing

Laser Blend of Olive Oil & Sunflower Oil is suitable for all cooking methods including deep pan frying, pan frying, stir-frying and baking. It is also great as part of a salad dressing. It Consists of 80% Sunflower Oil and 20% Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
